At Step of Faith Ministries, we are rooted in biblical truth and led by the Holy Spirit. Our beliefs are founded on the authority of Scripture and the power of God’s presence in our daily lives. Below are the core tenets of our faith:

What We Believe

The Inspired Scriptures

We believe the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, is the inspired and infallible Word of God. It serves as the foundation for faith, life, and conduct.
(2 Timothy 3:15–17; 1 Thessalonians 2:13; 2 Peter 1:21)

The One True God

God reveals Himself as the “I Am”—our Creator and Redeemer. He exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son (Jesus), and Holy Spirit.
(Isaiah 43:10–11; Genesis 1:1; Ephesians 4:5–6)

The Deity of Jesus

Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. Scripture affirms His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, sacrificial death, resurrection, and ascension.
(Revelation 1:8; Hebrews 1:3)

The Fall of Man

Humanity was created in righteousness but chose sin, resulting in spiritual separation from God.
(Genesis 1:26–27, 3:6; Romans 5:12–19)

The Salvation of Man

Salvation is only possible through Jesus’ shed blood. By grace through faith, and demonstrated in repentance, we enter into relationship with Him.
(John 3:3; Ephesians 2:8; Romans 12:13–15)

Ordinances of the Church

We practice water baptism by immersion and observe communion in remembrance of Jesus’ sacrifice.
(Mark 16:16; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26)

The Baptism of the Holy Spirit

We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit as a gift of power for every believer, evidenced by the fruit of the Spirit.
(Galatians 5:22–23)

Sanctification

Believers are called to live in holiness, separated from sin and dedicated to God’s purpose.
(Romans 12:1–2; 1 Peter 1:16; Hebrews 12:14)

The Church and Its Mission

The Church is the body of Christ on earth, commissioned to share the Gospel and make disciples.
(Matthew 28:19; Luke 19:10)

The Ministry

God ordains ministers to equip the Church in worship, evangelism, and spiritual growth.
(Mark 16:15–20; John 4:23–24; Ephesians 4:11, 16)

Divine Healing

We believe healing is available today and provided through Christ’s atonement.
(Isaiah 53:4–5; Matthew 8:16–17; James 5:14–16)

The Blessed Hope and Second Coming

We await the resurrection and rapture of all believers and the triumphant return of Christ to reign.
(Romans 8:23; 1 Corinthians 15:51–52; Zechariah 14:5; Matthew 24:30)

The Final Judgment

All will be judged before God at the end of time.
(Matthew 25:46; Mark 9:43–48; Revelation 19:20)

The New Heaven and Earth

God’s children will dwell with Him forever in a new, eternal creation.
(2 Peter 3:13; Revelation 21–22)

We equip believers to live out the Great Commission—growing in faith and boldly spreading the message of Jesus Christ.

Our Story

Step of Faith Ministries began as a humble family Bible study, born from a desire to follow God’s leading. In November 2017, we held our first service right in our kitchen—intimate, faith-filled, and spirit-led. Though we had no formal structure, we knew we were sowing into miracle ground.

As God continued to move, our vision expanded. In March 2019, He opened the door for us to move into our first church building. What began with a few hearts and a kitchen table has grown into a ministry touching lives with the love and truth of Jesus Christ.
